The tour will include 4 to 5 food tastings from local independent restaurants and pours from several craft breweries. The Heights riverfront location is at the north end of the Tampa Riverwalk and is accessible by bike, hike or water taxi from downtown. The buildings in the Heights have been renovated to create incredible new food halls, restaurants, breweries, a Meadery and coffee shops. Each has their own story to share. Whenever possible, we like to pull back the curtain and have the chef or brew master share their passion for their craft.

The Heights historic community offers a wide diversity of local flavors by independently owned establishments that are certain to appeal to both foodie and beer enthusiasts.  Our tour meets at the beautiful Waterworks Park on the river home to Ulele. One of our most treasured restaurants in The Heights. Ulele’s story is a great starting point to discuss the transformation and history of this urban setting. And oh by the way Ulele’s craft lagers are really special. The two new food halls have been years in the making. Renovating while preserving the roots and history of the properties they have been re-imagined to showcase dozens of new dining options.
